Ted and I paid a short visit to Liverpool in November 2018. The purpose of the trip was to explore the pubs of the city after a gap of many years since we’d passed any longer than a few hours in the city. The best pubs will be included in the 2019 UK pub guide on the Go Drinking with Ted page. There was also time to take a few photographs of the city and here they are.
We stayed close to Albert Dock and most of the pictures were taken in the area and the Pier Head nearby. On a wet and windy morning we visited the series of sculptures ‘Another Place’ by Antony Gormley on Crosby Beach. Ted has fully recovered from plummeting almost to his doom when trying to ride a horse, and now has a yellow submarine of his own.
