New on the  Go across Europe with Ted page is our trip in June this year to Switzerland. Around Lake Lucerne is our journey around central Switzerland, up and down mountains and travelling on such esoteric / fascinating / daft (delete as appropriate) transport as the steepest funicular in the world and the highest exterior lift in Europe, in between swanning around the lake on paddle steamers. (We only had one trip above the snowline – the weather was sunny and warm most of the time).
